A single green marble pendant light with a hand-blown opal glass cone shade on a matte black stem. Ø130mm, G9 socket, OEM/ODM from Strong Lighting.
A single cone of hand-blown opal glass. A polished sphere of Indian green marble. A six-millimetre stem in matte black. The STD16123-1 does very little, and does it precisely — which is exactly why it holds a room.
This green marble pendant light was drawn for interiors that have stopped shouting. In 2026, high-end residential and hospitality projects are moving away from layered decoration and toward single, material-led gestures: one stone, one glass, one line. Hung alone or in a row of three, the fixture reads first as a small sculpture and second as a light source — the order most designers want above a kitchen island or a bedside table.
Why Green Marble Changes the Room
Green marble is the material story of the season. Its deep forest base and white-to-jade veining sit somewhere between the 1990s glamour revival and the current appetite for organic, tactile surfaces — rich enough to anchor a neutral scheme, quiet enough to live with for a decade.
Strong Lighting uses natural Indian green marble, cut and hollowed on multi-axis CNC equipment, then hand-polished. No two spheres are identical: veining density, tone and mineral clouding shift from piece to piece, and we do not standardise that variation away. For a buyer, this is the difference between a stone accent and a printed imitation — and it is the detail that survives close inspection in a showroom.
The stone is deliberately small. At 130 mm across the shade, the marble sphere stays a jewel rather than a boulder, so the pendant can be specified in multiples without overwhelming the architecture.
Opal Glass, Matte Black Iron, and a Deliberate Contrast
The shade is hand-blown opal glass — a three-layer white glass that diffuses a G9 lamp into an even, glare-free glow. Light falls downward and outward in a soft pool, with no hard edge on the ceiling and no visible filament from below. That matters in dining and hospitality settings where guests sit at eye level with the fixture.
The frame is iron, finished in matte black. Black keeps the silhouette graphic against pale plaster and lets the green stone carry the colour; it also pairs without friction with walnut, travertine, brushed brass and linen. Buyers who need a different language can request alternative metal finishes under our OEM programme — satin brass and satin nickel are the two most common requests for this shape.
Hardware is intentionally minimal: a slim ceiling canopy, a straight stem, a single decorative node where stone meets glass. Nothing competes with the material.
Where This Pendant Works Best
Kitchen island. Three units on 400–450 mm centres over a 2.4 m island give rhythm without glare. Hang the shade 750–800 mm above the counter so the cone stays below eye level when seated.
Bedside. One pendant per side replaces a table lamp and frees the nightstand. Because the shade is only 130 mm wide, it suits compact apartments and hotel rooms where surface space is scarce.
Hallway and stairwell. A single drop at 900 mm total height fills a narrow corridor with a warm point of light. In double-height voids, the stem can be extended on request.
Restaurant and bar counters. The fixture is small enough to repeat in long runs, and the green stone gives each seat a consistent material cue without visual noise.
Retail and showroom vignettes. Paired with travertine or terrazzo displays, the pendant reinforces a stone-led merchandising story.

Built for Export, Not Just for Photographs
Decorative lighting fails in transit more often than it fails on a specification sheet. Glass and stone are the two components most likely to arrive damaged, so this pendant is packed one piece per carton with the shade and marble sphere separated by moulded protection, and the carton is drop-tested before a production run ships.
For project buyers, the practical points are these: consistent 110–240 V wiring, lamp holders certified to the destination market, a repeatable matte black finish across batches, and a 45-day production window that can be planned against a container schedule. Strong Lighting has been manufacturing in Guzhen, Zhongshan since 2015, with two production lines, an 800 m² showroom and a team of three in-house designers — enough capacity for container orders, small enough to answer a custom request in days rather than quarters.
OEM and ODM work is standard rather than exceptional: adjust the drop, change the metal finish, swap the stone for travertine or Nero Marquina, alter the glass tone, or brand the carton. If you are building a private-label marble lighting programme, this pendant is a sensible entry point because the form is simple, the material cost is controlled, and the piece photographs well at every price tier.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Is the green marble natural or a composite?
It is natural Indian green marble, cut and hollowed from solid block, then hand-polished. Veining, tone and mineral pattern vary between units — this is a characteristic of the stone, not a defect. If your project requires matched veining across a batch, tell us at quotation stage and we will select from the same block where possible.
Q2: Can the hanging height be customised?
Yes. The standard overall height is 900 mm. For higher ceilings or specific design intent, the stem can be shortened or extended during production. Please confirm the target drop, ceiling type and canopy preference with your order.
Q3: Is it dimmable?
The fixture itself is a plain G9 lampholder, so dimming depends on the lamp and switch you specify. With a dimmable G9 LED and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer, smooth dimming is achievable. We can supply dimmable lamps on request.
Q4: Can I order a sample before a container?
Yes. Sample orders are welcome so you can verify stone tone, glass diffusion and finish in your own market. Production lead time for repeat orders is about 45 days after deposit.
Q5: Can the metal finish be changed?
Yes. Matte black is standard. Satin brass, satin nickel and custom RAL finishes are available under OEM terms; minimum quantities and lead time depend on the finish.
Q6: Is it suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use?
No. This is an indoor, dry-location fixture (IP20). For bathrooms we recommend keeping it outside the splash zone and well away from direct water contact; for exterior applications please ask us about alternative sealed constructions.
Q7: How should the marble be cleaned?
Dust with a dry microfibre cloth. For marks, use a pH-neutral stone cleaner on a damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid acidic or abrasive products, bleach and steel wool, which dull the polish.
